Adored father of Esperanza Delamora, Jose Jr.(Esperanza) Escalante, Jesse (Lisa) Escalante, and Jaime (Julie) Escalante; loving grandfather of Jose Miguel Escalante, Kristen Alanis, Sheila Escalante, Jocelyn Escalante, Carlos Delamora Jr., Giovanni Delamora, Anthony Delamora, Yvette Escalante, Jasmine Escalante, Matthew Escalante, Jessica Escalante, Julian Escalante, Javier Escalante, Julie Escalante, Jaime Escalante Jr, Jonathan and Jayden Escalante; cherished great- grandfather of Elijah Spratt, Jett Spratt, Amina Escalante, Renesmee Escalante, Jonathan Campos and Maya Delamora.
