Adrienne "A" Rita Metych

Adrienne "A" Rita Metych, (nee Miller) passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2021. Beloved wife of Michael; loving mother of Michele; cherished sister of the late Joseph (Cindy) Miller; fond sister-in-law of Julie Bargiel, Thomas (Jeanette) Metych, the late John Maximilian Jr. (Patricia) Metych and the late Joseph (Peggy) Metych; also nieces and nephews. A loved the Chicago Bears, Rainbow Cone ice cream, her cats, her grand-cats, and her grand-chickens. Her greatest joy in life was delighting and surprising others. Family, friends, and neighbors were the constant recipients of unexpected gifts and thoughtful messages; she and her daughter could rarely contain their mutual excitement for Christmas and exchanged gifts as early as July. For Adrienne, strangers were only friends she hadn't met yet, and everyone who entered her sphere, even for a little while, felt her love and kindness. Visitation Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Richard Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5725 S. Pulaski Road. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
