Anna Capiak

Anna Capiak, age 100. July 18th, 2024 in Central Stickney, Illinois, Anna Capiak, 100 years old, has peacefully passed away into the presence of the lord, late husband Karol Capiak, and eldest daughter Maria Capiak. She was surrounded by loved ones. Anna Capiak was born in Chyzne, Poland on December 11th, 1923. Mother to Maria, Milan, Anna, Jan, and Karol. Grandmother to Larry, Richy, Diane, Grazyna, Maria, Mariola, Manuela, Jan, and Marek. Great grandmother to Dawid, Tomasz, Lukasz, Michal, Karolina, Gabriela, John, Ashely, Maya, Nicole, Finus Jr. , and Natalka. Great great grandmother to Anielka and Stanislaw. Her husband Karol passed away suddenly in her life. She was left a widow mother to five children ages seven to seventeen. She was a hard working women, a inspiration to her children. Tought them to love god and have faith. Her and her oldest daughter immigrated to America in 1975. The family followed soon after. Everyone living in Chicago under one roof. The start to building the American dream. Anna Capiak was the kindness and honest woman you could have had in your life. She was loved by her entire family and friends especially her Bingo crew! 

 Your legacy will never be forgotten. 

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. at G. Martinez Funeral Home, 5725 S. Pulaski Rd. Funeral Service Monday, July 22 8:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 4810 S. Leamington. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
